Post 10: The Last One

I really love English, so I’ll always enjoy learning it and using it in general, even when at school and university they make the learning a little boring, but that’s part of life I guess. This wasn’t the first time I did blogs, so I knew the rubric for them, but I like them. Thinking about it now, I think they were my favourite part of the English class (also I really enjoyed giving advices to Rose last week ), and I feel like they’re a good chance to practice writing and to talk about some topics we’re passionate about, or some stuff we love or enjoy. I think personally I need to learn a few words that I don’t really know, I’m bad with naming animals or fruits in English, so I must practice that in especial. For my that’s what I must improve, but if right now I would have the change to travel to other country where they speak English I’ll survive for sure, and move along very well, I have trust on myself and what I know in that aspect. I use English every single day of m...

Post 9: Changing the Study Programme

Thinking about this, I feel like there’s not that much that I would like to change about studying journalism here, but the things that I would like to change are really important, especially for our future. One of the biggest issues that we have as students here in ICEI, is the lack of equipment for our television and audio visual courses in general. We only have 3 cameras that have to be use and share with around 150 students, I know that sounds crazy but is our reality. So I thinks that would be one of the biggest and more important changes that I would do. Other thing that I would change if I could is the basis of the career, I like that we learn about really different topics so our chances in the future are higher, but we have so much theoretical courses for 5 years of career. I would reinforce the practical part instead of teaching that much about theory. With the new curriculum mesh we only have one practice at the end of our career, for me that’s unfair in many way...

Post 8: Favorite Artist

I love a lot of artists, so is a little bit hard to choose one but maybe it would be a good idea to talk about "the brain" behind The 1975, an english pop rock band. Matty Healy, the front man of The 1975, besides being the vocalist of the band is also who writes most of their songs and play as guitarist sometimes too. Matty’s parents are english actors, so the art run through his veins. He’s been really outspoken about really important issues like depression, drugs addiction, political topics (Donald Trump for example), and others that have been included in the songs of the band. First time I heard about The 1975 and Matty was back in 2014, when other artist that I really love went to some of their shows in the United States. But I think that I really became a fan of theirs around 2015 or 2016. Last November 30 th , The 1975 released their new album called “ A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships “ , where Matty wrote about relationships through social m...
