Being a woman in 2018: Even after the feminist movement that took place this year, we are still judged for not being the way men and society want us to be. If there’s a strong, powerful and fearless woman, that’s still wrong for some people, and women are called “inconvenient”, a topic that had been taken by women all around the world, but I heard about it when an artist that I love wrote a poem about being an inconvenient woman. Halsey, an american singer, wrote a poem about different situations that women are caught up this days, and how speak out our voices, opinions and expressing our feelings is still being judged by the rest of the world, leading to call women inconvenient, referring that some behaviours are still badly seen, even in 2018. For me this issue is important because first, I’m a woman living in a time when existing is an everyday battle, and with social media is easier to be judged. But also I choose it because I feel like even though the constant f...

Post 6: A Future Course

I’m really thinking about and considering the idea of taking some courses in Milan, Italy. There’s a fashion academy called Milan Fashion Campus, where you can find different courses about varied aspects of fashion. In my case, I would love to take some courses about clothing desing, and others about styling. My reason to want to take this particular courses is because they’ll give me the skills to write about fashion in a more professional way, but also they'll teach me to desing if I want to do it for real someday. And then if I like the experience and if I have the money to, maybe I’ll take some online courses at the same academy. I would like to take the courses in a part time mode, so maybe I can take two courses at the same time, or I can do other stuff with rest of the time. But as I said before, then I want to take some online courses, which could be at distance, living somewhere else in the world. One thing that I really like about this academy is their motto a...

I would love to have many different jobs, but all of them related to art and culture, going from photographer to fashion designer, and a lot between. But thinking about one to talk about today, I would love to write about fashion in a magazine, like the american Vogue for example. This job have to be indoor and outdoor, but my favourite part is having to travel around the world for fashion weeks, to look for new trends, and do interviews to different people in different places. So being honest, I would to do it more outdoor than indoor. I would love to travel as much as possible, not only for this job, but for life in general. I’m really thinking about taking some courses for a season in Milan, Italy. There’s an academy that looks interesting to me, and they teach about fashion in a lot of different ways. So after I finish my career here, I want to work for about a year or two, and then if I have the chance, move to Milan and take a few courses there. I’ve been a fan of f...
